James Gunn brings it home this week with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the 32nd Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. But more importantly, Vol. 3 rounds out what might be Marvel’s best trilogy with Gunn out the door to help out DC. Does this latest adventure with the freakin’ guardians of the galaxy hit all the right emotional heartbeats? Well, we’re here to hash all that out, along with our general thoughts on the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise thus far, and we of course end the show with the Rotten Tomatoes Game. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 stars (deep breath) Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Will Poulter, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Linda Cardellini, Nathan Fillion, and Sylvester Stallone.

Our intro music this week is “Wind Flower” by Toti Cisneros.

Synopsis for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3:

ONCE MORE WITH FEELING. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them. [Source: Letterboxd]
