I’ve never seen any of the other hellboy movies, so I saw this one blind. My brother who saw it with me had only watched the 2004 one. We both loved it! I liked how it was more true to the comics and visually I thought it was extremely unique in a good way. I would definitely recommond to someone who’s sick of the usual marvel movies.

I’m really starting to wonder how much longer Laika will last at this point. Very sad.

I think you guys nailed what didn’t work with this movie, and the main problem really is McShane. This guy is supposed to be the heart of the movie and a character Hellboy should care about, but the performance is just absolutely phoned in and as flat as it gets. That’s the main thing with this movie. The acting is so flat despite the visuals and action being so dynamic. It just doesn’t flow.

AW Hell no. I predict the two guests next week will be Sam Noland and Kimber Myers.
