Ambulance, the newest action crime thriller from Michael Bay, isn’t a video game movie like Sonic the Hedgehog 2, but it might as well be. We begin this week’s show with this runaway GTA-inspired Bayhem heist, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Eiza Gonzáles. Then we spend some quality time with Sonic and the gang in this superpowered sequel to the 2020 box office hit, this time with Idris Elba joining the cast as Knuckles alongside Ben Schwartz as Sonic, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, along with James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and a few other familiar(?) faces from the original film.
