Best Leo performance ever.
I started this episode thinking Sam was too negative, but I came around to his criticisms (which I find valid) toward the end. Ultimately, I’ll have to see the movie again to know if I really like it, but I appreciate this conversation providing some insight I didn’t previously consider.
The soundtrack is so good (kudos guys for your sound choices in the intro), and I especially love the detail in the broadcasts for that time period. I felt totally sucked into the movie, but agree that the classic Tarantino dialogue is a bit missed. Second watch might be better.
Great episode, loved the range of opinions on this one. I wish I liked the movie as much as Will, but I’m somewhere in between Sam and Jon on this one. Especially agree with Sam about how the movie feels so dysfunctional in its structure. C+ for me!
