This podcast was recorded during the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Without the labor of the writers and actors currently on strike, the movie being covered here wouldn’t exist.

Wowabunga! Special guest Cory Woodroof joins the show this week for a review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, a computer-animated reimagining of the famous pizza-loving turtles from some of the same talent behind Mitchells vs. The Machines.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem was directed by Jeff Rowe, who co-wrote the screenplay with Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Dan Hernandez, and Benji Samit. The voice cast includes Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, Brady Noon, Ayo Edebiri, Maya Rudolph, John Cena, Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, Natasia Demetriou, Giancarlo Esposito, Jackie Chan, Ice Cube, Paul Rudd, Post Malone, and Hannibal Buress. The film opened in theaters on August 2 through Paramount Pictures and has a 100-minute runtime.

Our intro music this week is “Which One?” by Glimlip & .multibeat.
